Simona Shirazi

Corporate Law, Real Property, Estate Planning

Simona Shirazi is an associate attorney at the Firm, where her practice focuses on estate planning, real estate and corporate matters.

Simona has been with the Firm since 2018, having advanced from paralegal to law clerk during law school and ultimately to associate attorney. Over the years, she has worked closely with the Firm’s attorneys and developed a deep understanding of its clients and their legal needs across multiple areas of law. Her experience spans entity formation and restructuring, governance, and ongoing compliance matters, as well as estate planning and trust administration, real estate transactions, and trademark protection.

Simona earned her Juris Doctor from Golden Gate University School of Law, where she graduated first in her class with a 4.0 GPA (summa cum laude). During law school, she received ten CALI Awards for Excellence for earning the highest grade in courses directly related to her practice, including Business Associations, Contracts, Property, and Legal Writing and Research. She also received the J. Lani Bader Award for Academic Excellence, awarded to the Class of 2024 valedictorian, as well as faculty awards recognizing excellence in Corporate & Commercial Law and Intellectual Property Law.

While in law school, Simona served on Law Review, where she authored and published a scholarly Comment analyzing the First Amendment implications of California’s Age-Appropriate Design Code and its potential impact on online speech. She was also the Vice President of the Intellectual Property and Privacy Law Association and served as a Contracts Teaching Assistant.

She received her bachelor’s degree in Special Education from the University of Ostrava in the Czech Republic and is fluent in Czech and English, with conversational proficiency in Slovak.
